Yeah that pretty much I discovered dA in 2007 (2008?) I think, and I was amazed by it, the whole idea.

Needless to say I joined right away on my first account. Back then it was amazing, I could easily share my work with others and find amazing artists at the same time. I even earned myself a "Daily Deviation" on one of my vector works. Good stuff! (Ironically enough, I don't really like that work much anymore lol) Then life stuff happened and that first account was emotionally linked to it. Which lead me to delete said account. So I opened this one sometime later, but it was not the same honestly. Also, as you can see, I choose a dumbass name lmao. And I'll be damn if I spend a cent on this site just to change it. Anyway. Thing is, like for like 10 years dA has become more bloated, saturated of people who clearly don't know what they are doing, or incredibly talented and technical artists that (At least IMHO) they have nothing else to say. Yeah, of course there are great artists somewhere drowned by this ocean of ... nothingness? IDK how to describe it. And I'm bored of swimming in smelly waters just to try find a pearl. Anyway. I'm honestly done with dA. I'm grateful to it for many things, helping me getting better, or rather, find my own voice. Meeting nice (and not so nice) people that helped me being who I am today If by any chance, anyone is reading this (gonna guess like 2 or 3 people?).
